Oņati - Korpus Eguna: Procession

6/17/01 At the end of mass the living images enter the church through a side entrance. The procession then begins from the front door of the church into the street where  a large crowd gathers.

6/17/01 The dancers constantly play the castanets during the procession as they travel from beginning to end.  Here they are near the image of Saint Martin.
6/17/01The image of Immaculate Mary emerges from Kale Zaharra followed by a group of children dressed as angels.  This image is kept in a private home on Bakardadeko Ama Kalea. 
6/17/01 The children who have made their first communion this year participate in the procession carrying lilies. The boys are interspersed among the images of the saints.
