urban visits continues near the plaza.

The end of this year's urban visit was near at this point. While it was
cool in the morning session, it turned pretty warm in the
afternoon. The dancers put in a long and exhausting day. |

After a long day of dancing and collecting money
it is time to party. Here we wait in the street
for hearty sandwiches from a bar. Most of
the men went home early to rest up for the next
day, Korpus Eguna. Many of the women and some of
the men, however, made the rounds to lots of bars.
We arrived in the plaza at about 1:00 a.m. to
dance the last trikitixa the band played.
Some continued to celebrate. I went home to
charge batteries - the camcorder's and my own. |
