Basque dance costumes created by
Zenbat Gara make up part of the current display celebrating
Basque Culture at the City of Reno Parks
and Recreation hallway gallery this month.
In addition
to costumes, photographs by Miel Elustondo, and historical
photos from the first Basque festival held in Sparks, Nevada in
1959 are exhibited.
The exhibit is
open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 through
November 28th.
The hallway
gallery is located at 190 E. Liberty in the former Southside
School, home to City of Reno Parks and Recreation offices. It is
a brick building on the corner of Liberty and Sinclair.
The exhibit is
part of Basque Cultural Week November 12th -19th. For a
